All right, we're starting to worry about Orlando Brown. Now that he's no longer Raven's sidekick Eddie, he's been getting himself into some serious trouble.
The 23-year-old That's So Raven actor was arrested for drinking and driving outside of his Los Angeles home Friday night. This isn't the actor turned rapper's first run in with the law. In 2007 he was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after police found a little stash in his car.
But as for this drinking and driving incident that took place Friday at 11:30 p.m., it sounds pretty bad. According to the he said, she said. Supposedly Brown was stopped behind the wheel with his pregnant girlfriend in the passenger seat and had been released the next morning on $15,000 bail. But LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera won't confirm those details and Brown's manager, Reno Rankin, is vehemently denying them.
"There was no $15,000 bail, he was released on his own recognizance, " Rankin said. "He just has to go to court and attend his hearing. He had been drinking in his house, he had two glasses of wine. He had not been driving and there was no pregnant lady in the car. The car was his friend's. She was leaving and he went out to talk to her, and he sat in the driver's seat. He also was not in a moving vehicle, but when the cops pulled up he was sitting behind the wheel. He is going to attend his court date and is innocent until proven guilty."
Well, let's just hope he's not proven guilty at his September 8 court appearance. Even though so time in the joint could really do wonders for his lyrical flow.
