"I was drunk, and I did not realize I was pissing on her leg." These words instantly became the most memorable quote in the history of the US Ski Team. Robert "Sandy" Vietze is (was) an 18-year-old member of the US Ski Team who took a red-eye JetBlue flight from Portland, Ore. to JFK airport in New York City last night. Before he boarded, however, he got WASTED. So wasted that he ended up peeing on an 11-year-old girl during the flight. Her, dad, who suffers from cancer, had momentarily left his daughter. BIG MISTAKE. You never know when somebody's going to start pissing all over the place.
This story was broken by the New York Post, of course, and in typical Post fashion they covered it with class and aplomb. Here's one of our favorite quotes from the article: "The girl's father, a Stage 4 cancer patient, caught Vietze midstream and tried to wipe him out." If you want to work for the New York Post, you must master the art of puns and alliteration. Alliterative puns are a major plus.
We'll have more on this breaking story of awfulness as events warrant. What do you think? Is Vietze justified? He probably had to pee really badly!
