Did you guys know the White House has a Twitter account? @whitehouse has over two million followers and has recently begun dispatching employees to answer random questions from users. Usually the correspondence is pretty dry, but yesterday's answer was a quirky little shocker.
When someone mentioned that the day's correspondence briefing was boring, the White House Twitter responded (above) with: @wiggsd Sorry to hear that. Fiscal policy is important, but can be dry sometimes. Here's something more fun: tinyurl.com/y8ufsnp #WHChat
Yep, the White House "rickrolled" us. For those of you unawares, "rickrolling" is an Internet phenomenon that involves unexpectedly linking to the video for Rick Astley's 1987 single "Never Gonna Give You Up," usually utterly unrelated to the content of the message. I guess Obama figures that as long as it doesn't look ike he's gonna have a second term, he may as well rickroll, drink mai tais on B. and J.'s yacht and generally not give a f*ck.
