Why is Felicia Day looking all buff up there? It might be because I cast a maximized bull's strength on her moments before this photo was taken, or it might be because she's been workin' out hardcore in order to play the role of Tallis, Elven assassin, in the Dragon Age: Redemption web series. Right now, Day's representing Redemption--along with her other geek masterworks--at San Diego Comic-Con, and we've got a few more details about the project to share with you. First and foremost is the release date--we originally heard that we'd get to visit Thedas with geek goddess Day sometime this summer, but now it seems we're looking at an early fall debut instead. Of course, the trailer you're about to see still says Summer 2011, and Day told Comic-Con reporters not to tweet this information, so take it all with a grain of lyrium. Does lyrium even come in grains? Anyway.
Day, who also wrote Redemption, tells us she structured each of the six episodes like episodes of The Guild--that is, with a beginning, middle, and end. Each episode will run somewhere between six and ten minutes, meaning the whole series will be about an hour long. Redemption is set to be, in a phrase, crazy good, with involvement from Independence Day producer Peter Winther (directing), Lost's John Bartley as EP, and Hellboy's Doug Jones, who's starring alongside Day.
