"ARE YOU AWARE THAT I HAVE MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS?!" That's how we picture LA Lakers forward Ron Artest campaigning on behalf of mental health awareness. Ron-Ron has turned his life around since beating up fans in Detroit, and now he wants his name to reflect his inner change. Artest filed a petition to change his legal name to Metta World Peace, which, you know, makes complete sense. No one has done more to promote world peace over the course of the past half decade than Ron Artest, so naturally he should change his name to reflect his contributions.

We wish Ron Artest the best of luck in his attempt to change his name. Perhaps Kobe Bryant will find inspiration to change his name to "Metta Yuge D-Bag." SportsOlogy can dream.
