Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan took to Twitter this weekend to condemn the three thugs and one woman responsible for mugging and attacking his half-brother Jesse Anderson in Chicago Thursday. Anderson, who suffers from a rare genetic condition similar to cerebral palsy, was listening to Nelly Furtado on the CTA train when an unidentified woman sat down next to him and snatched his iPod. Anderson demanded she return the iPod, subsequently chasing after the woman before being attacked by three unknown male assailants.
“My little brother Jesse was attacked and robbed this morning by three men,” Corgan tweeted later that evening, “The bad guys picked the wrong kid to f—k with!” He added earlier this morning: “Thank you to all the fans who reached out to my brother in support. It’s made him feel a lot better about a terrible event in his life.”
What a messed up, pointless thing to do to somebody. Hope they find these jerks and force them to listen to Nelly Furtado full blast for ten to twenty.
