So, Weezy dropped his latest single titled "How To Love" yesterday from his upcoming Tha Carter IV, and from what I've been reading around, it's been met with extremes. People are either hating it or loving it, with no limbo in between. Personally, I haven't decided yet, but my opinion isn't the topic of discussion here — I, as I'm sure many other are, am curious to see what the people overall are feeling. So let's get some statistics.
If you haven't heard the track yet, I've posted it below, and to give a little explanation, it's pretty much Weezy singing, to degrees, over some smooth guitar strums, Andean flutes, and light bongo taps. He's dabbled in these waters before, but as a whole, I think it might be fair to call it his most low-key ballad to date. It's an experiment, which is fine, the foil to "6'7," to put it into some context.
