The CW announced today that it has picked up the reality series H8R. Brace yourself because H8R sounds like either the best or the worst idea ever to be put on television.

H8R is a reality series that pairs up celebrities and people who hate them. The celebrities try to prove to these haters that they're actually nice people undeserving of their animosity. Mario "I speak Spanish and stuff" Lopez is set to host. Apparently, the first show will star Snooki and Kim Kardashian. My brain is exploding with so much anticipatory pleasure for this show. Mostly, I just can't wait until the episode where some celebrity actually makes the hater even more filled with hostility than to begin with. Guesses on the celebrity of that episode: Kanye West, Andy Dick, Lindsay Lohan, or Criss Angel. Someone's seriously going to get stabbed. And it's going to be the best show ever.
What if we did a political themed H8R? It seems like it would incite the whole "mile in another man's shoes" thing. We could really stop wars and stuff. Thanks, CW, for simultaneously beinging about world peace and the end of days with your stellar programming.
