It was announced today that Justin Timberlake will be hosting Saturday Night Live’s season finale on May 21st. There is no further word on if Timberlake will also be the musical guest, considering his absence from the musical world as of late.
This news happened over a tweet in which a fan wrote “I didn’t realize that @nbcsnl isn’t back until May 7th!!! What am I going to do!? Is Tina Fey the season finale? #SNL #aaahhh.” Then the show actually responded, “Nope! We have Timberlake after that!” but then took down their tweet, leading to some speculation that it’s just a rumor.
There is no denying that this is a decent choice; Timberlake has always had some pretty solid SNL moments, (even my own mother sent me “Dick in a Box”) I don’t mind the whole “Omlette-ville” thing, and for the most part he’s never really afraid to make a fool of himself. This will be the end of SNL’s 36th season.
