4. Gimme More
So the song itself isn't the worst ever, but Britney's "comeback" performance from the 2007 VMA's is so painful you almost have to look away. She can barely move her body. She's been squeezed into an ill-fitting bikini. And she continually flubs her lines, which is pretty impressive actually when you consider that she basically only has to lip-sync two words - "gimme" and "more."
3. I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman
This gem of a ballad raises the question: If you're not a girl, but you're not yet a woman, than what the hell are you?! And looking back at the video, I totally get a 127 Hours vibe now.
2. Lucky
This was our first glance at Britney Spears, the actress! In the video, Ms. Spears tackles the titular character of Lucky, a movie star dealing with the loneliness of stardom. And she certainly does cry cry cry in her lonely heart...
