Wyclef Jean was shot in the hand while in Port-au-Prince, Haiti over the weekend.
The 41-year-old former presidential candidate's hand was grazed by a bullet while in town to observe the runoff election. "He is doing well," his publicist Cindy Tanenbaum told CNN.
"You can wound a man, but you can not stop a revolution," his sister Melky Jean told MTV News. "I pray for a peaceful election day. I pray that democracy is restored in Haiti, and there is an end to the violence and suffering."
Wyclef is currently out of the hospital and recovering. He reportedly stepped out of his car Saturday night, heard a gunshot and realized he was hit, though it was a superficial wound.
Glad to see he's OK.
