Well they're not in the studio just yet, but the guys in All American Rejects have some time booked for later this month to start recording their fourth album. The band's last release, When the World Comes Down, dropped back in 2008.
And with the typical publicity that surrounds a new album, All American Reject's frontman Tyson Ritter figured why not make the most of it and launch a contest which aims to benefit his charity, Don't Hate On Haiti .
Ritter wrote on is blog:
So, we have been writing relentlessly for the last year and are hitting the studio to lay down the tracks for our fourth record soon. My last year has been devoted to music and my charity, donthateonhaiti.org. So far, we have donated about $25,000 to Charity:Water, a true not-for-profit organization that builds clean water projects across the world. Every $5,000 we generate builds a clean water well in Haiti. Whoever raises the most money for http://don'thateonhaiti.org by April 1st of this year will win [...] sweet ass prizes.
Now as for the album, no word yet on a title or release date.
