Actor/director Kevin Smith recently revealed to MTV that Seth Rogen turned him on to smoking weed and it's the best thing that's happened to him in years.
"I got so much from him," Kevin said of Seth. "He re-energized me in a weird way. I
became a stoner because of Seth Rogen."
Hah...um, ok.
Kevin directed Seth in 2008's Zack and Miri Make a Porno and claims he's one of the most talented people he's ever worked with. He was in awe of how Seth could be a "functional stoner," and be "brilliant" while on set.
Surprisingly enough, Kevin had only tried weed a few times before (wait, really?) and decided to light one up with Seth on the last dy of filming.
"It was awesome," he explained. "We sat back, watched
some footage and sat there smoking. And I loved who I was. I loved how
the inhibition dropped away and I loved just being honest."
Ever since then, the director's become a major stoner and claims he's more productive than ever.
"That dude gave me the greatest gift I've had in the last five years," Kevin said. "The moment I start smoking, I start working. No one
could ever say, 'You fat, lazy piece of sh*t stoner!"
