Happy Fandom Friday! Each week, I highlight an aspect of the various fan communities that have sprung around movies, TV shows, books, games, or even memes, if the level of dedication is awesome enough.
You have to admire those fans who stubbornly cling to their favorite offbeat couples, even when canon has those characters matched up with others. You have to high-five those fans who create an entire game around a specific pairing, as is the case with a new flash game, Harry Potter Kiss.
The goal is simple: In each level, you have to get Harry and Hermione to kiss long enough to reach a certain number of points, but to do it in secret so that Ron, Snape, and Dumbledore don't find out. In each round, you have three spells you can use against them.
It's actually a pretty tough game; I almost won the first level but am still stumped. Here's what I've learned: Experiment to see how long Harry and Hermione can kiss before Ron notices--hint: you have until the dust/magic in front of his eyes has dissipated--and start with Wingardium Leviosa. Beyond that, you're on your own. Really, if you can beat the level, share your strategies in the comments!
The maker of this game must have been inspired by the naughty Harry/Hermione bit we saw in Deathly Hallows Part 1, where the Horcrux locket tricks Ron into thinking that his best friends are carrying on a romance behind his back. Yet it came through as one of the movie's cheesiest scenes. Despair no more, because in my search for a banner pic I found three great pieces of fan art of the forbidden kiss, all better than what we saw in the actual film:

Could fan art sway you to support Harry/Hermione, or is Hermione/Ron your inarguable OTP?
