At first glance, this is pretty disturbing: A creepily lifelike mannequin of our favorite redneck, muffled-voice kid, Kenny McCormick, was set on fire in the woods. Although someone joked about it being a social commentary, it turns out it was a more lighthearted stunt: Abstract artist Ron English decided to stage this burning as a tribute to South Park's 15th anniversary and Kenny's many, many deaths.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone have come up with countless deaths for poor Kenny, and more than a few of them involve fire:
- 1x03 "Volcano": Though he was put out of his misery with a bullet, the volcano bomb and lava started it.
- 3x02 "Spontaneous Combustion": Explodes due to a fart that never got out.
- 3x14 "The Red Badge of Gayness": Via U.S. National Guard warning flare.
- 5x08 "Towelie": Falls into a pit of lava.
- 13x10 "W.T.F.": Blown up by a malfunctioning rocket meant to kill someone else.
