“Is this even a fair question? Favorite psychological thrillers? There are so many! but I suppose if I had to narrow it down to three they'd be Identity, The Sixth Sense (Kind of cliché?), and Shutter Island. Identity is my absolute favorite because of how the movie is split between two realities that you think at first are directly related to each other somehow, until you find out that one isn't a reality at all. I just think that movie makes psychological thrillers because you actually were inside this tortured and murderous man's head; watching how he has coped with his life and redirected all the traumatic events that happened to him into these people that seem so real. I was blown away by that movie and it's ending is one that has you slumped in your seat thinking about the things our minds are capable of. Also, the book was brilliant as well. Do I even really have to explain why I love The Sixth Sense? He was dead the whole time! Shutter Island was beautiful. Leo won an oscar in my heart for that movie. I was so convince by his character's genuine fear and confusion that I almost wanted to believe that it was all some kind of hoax to make him feel crazy. But what really got me was that last line "Which would be worse? To live as a monster, or die as a good man?" Says it all... I was speechless. Maybe any psychological thriller with Leo in it is one I also love? And for the record I also love, Fight Club, The Matrix, Donnie Darko,The Butterfly Effect and all those other classics. JS”

“My favorite is the classic Hitchcock, Psycho. I know it may be passé to choose this one, but even after the shower scene, the build up to the climax of the movie is one of the most tense, most "make you wonder" set of scenes in any movie I have seen since. I always compare all psychological thrillers and dramas to this movie and to how it made me feel when I watched it.”

Channing Tatum and a psychological thriller--what else could you possibly ask for? Side Effects, the film starring Tatum, Rooney Mara, and Jude Law, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, comes out on Blu-ray and DVD May 21, and we've got 3 DVD copies to give out! For those who haven't seen, Side Effects tells the story of Emily Taylor (Mara) undergoes bizarre side effects after her psychiatrist (Law) prescribes her a certain drug. But--as any other thriller--there are way more shockers and twists. (Especially one scene that will make you absolutely gasp.) The story line isn't necessarily what you think, and will have you talking long after the credits roll. So, what are your favorite psychological thrillers? Bill Murray Crashes Karaoke Party, Continues To Be Awesome

theCHIVE recently released Earth-shattering photos that prove as long as Bill Murray is alive, he will be the coolest person in the universe. One of their users, a lad named Mike, was chilling with friends at Karaoke One 7 in NYC when THIS happened:

About 15 minutes later we get a knock on the door... IT'S BILL F@#KING MURRAY! We were all shocked of course but at that point we were already pretty trashed so the party just kept going. He was super nice and they all fit right in. His girl was really cute, and as far as i remember, from Amsterdam. She sang a bunch of random French songs! At some point he bought us all a round of some weird green drink and wouldn't tell us what it was. I later found out it was Chartreuse some French liqueur made by monks. Apparently you are supposed to sip it ... like an idiot I just shot it down. The high point was when Bill and I sang a duet of an Elvis song called, "Marie's the Name." Random I know, but so was the night. We were all drinking and dancing and screaming our asses off. We tried not to make him feel uncomfortable though of course later we all joked about picking the Ghostbusters theme. Amazingly, they stuck around the entire night, about 4 hours. As you can imagine it was all pretty surreal. Something I will never ever forget.
