A few hours ago, Amanda Palmer tweeted the above photo of her and writer Neil Gaiman, making it legal about a year after they announced their engagement. The performer and writer met when collaborating on her book Who Killed Amanda Palmer; though Palmer had the photos planned, she needed accompanying text, and a friend recommended Sandman scribe Gaiman.
The two have collaborated on several creative projects since then, including a short film (written by Gaiman) called Statuesque, and a cheeky recreation of Labyrinth, co-starring sock puppets.
In addition to the photo Palmer tweeted, she and others at the celebration shared these details over Twitter:

Best wishes to the happy couple!
