Kanye West has been conspicuously quiet on Twitter since the release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The Chicago rapper’s 140-character doozies ranged from quirky to dumb, from short nuggets of wisdom to borderline primal scream therapy. Without Kanye, who can possibly wear the King of the Crazy Tweet crown?
Duran Duran vocalist Simon Le Bon seems up to the challenge. This week saw the release of the eighties pop phenomena’s highly anticipated comeback album, the Mark Ronson produced All You Need Is Now (read our rave review), and Le Bon has been at the peak of his “huh?”-inducing abilities all week. Yes, the man who brought us classic lines like “You’re about as easy as a nuclear war” hasn’t lost his mastery of the bizarre, random, and left-field non-sequitur.
