Sophia Bush has dated (and married) almost every costar on One Tree Hill, and now rumors are swirling that she and her current boyfriend, Austin Nichols, are engaged.
Sophia and Austin play a couple on screen (Brooke and Julian or "Brulian") who are set to marry in an upcoming episode. Is life imitating art? When asked back in July, Austin told E!Online, "In real life? We shall see."
Well, it makes sense that if they were, Sophia would keep hush on the subject due to her very public past.
Sophia married costar Chad Michael Murray in 2005, but filed for annulment citing "fraud" amid rumors that he cheated on her with Paris Hilton during their filming of House of Wax. Chad's been engaged to Tree Hill extra and former Miss North Carolina runner-up Kenzie Dalton since mid-2006.
In 2008, Sophia was linked to costar James Lafferty, which I thought was a rumor until Chad himself confirmed it.
"Sophia and I are both professional and mature enough to get through it
... and now it's just easy. We're just friends. And she's got James, and
James and I are friends."
She's been dating Austin on-and-off for about four years and the pair are absolutely adorable. They just ran a half-marathon together. Sophia tweeted her beau:
"Congratulations rockstar :) RT @AUS10NICHOLS: My official time for the Half Marathon
was 1:40:59. 7:43 mile. 22nd place in my division."
Aw. Maybe I'm just biased because I'm obsessed with the show (and Austin), but I think this marriage will actually last. The adorability factor proved here:
