Those of you suffering from post-Avatar depression are in luck! If you can hold out a few more years, you'll get your Na'vi fix. Fox announced this morning in conjunction with director James Cameron that the Titanic auteur's next two projects will be Avatar 2 and Avatar 3. Cameron will begin work on the second script in early 2011 and production could start as early as that same year, with an estimated 2014 release date.
And, to shoot even farther into the very hypothetical future, Avatar 3 may be released around December 2015. Neither of the films' plot has been released, and it remains to be seen which members of the original cast are slated to return.
Funny enough, Titanic will also be re-released in 3D come April 2012, though I'm pretty sure at this point Cameron would have been happy to let that particular blockbuster sink.
