In the latest round of News That Embarrassingly Makes My Day, Katie Holmes and Jake Gyllenhaal are reportedly dating! Oh, and did I mention they were hooked up by her ex Joshua Jackson? YES.
According to some British tabloid (AKA totally true, you guys), Jake was recently spotted spending time in NYC. "Katie says that they have tons in common and Jake has already been to see her in Dead Accounts, plus she has been over to his apartment in the West Village for dinner," a source said.
But that's not the best part. For me anyway. This was all thanks to Katie's Dawson's Creek co-star and first love Pacey Josh. "Josh has been the mastermind behind this romance," the source added.
Jake was previously linked to Taylor Swift (um, hello), Reese Witherspoon and Kirsten Dunst, while Katie famously divorced Tom Cruise earlier this year.
Josh and Katie supposedly didn't talk for a long time while she was married, but reunited after her split. He is currently dating longtime girlfriend Diane Kruger.
Please let this one be true. For me.
