Nicole Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough claimed the coveted mirror-ball trophy in the tenth season of Dancing With The Stars, beating Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya, and Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Although all three pairs danced the Argentinian tango in the first round, they cinched the performance with a rousing rendition of Ike and Tina Turner's "Proud Mary". In fact, judge Len Goodman proclaimed that they should be the winners after that song, before Lysacek even got to perform.
Also present at the finale was Kate Gosselin, who an insider says was incredibly difficult to deal with: "She is the only celebrity in the entire 10 seasons who has demanded a security guard be with her at all times, and nothing anyone does is good enough. Last night, she actually wanted the temperature of the ballroom changed before she hit the floor. Kate hates to sweat and this was just another opportunity for her to be difficult." Apparently the costume designers would flip a coin to see who had to deal with her!
