I thought being paired with your ex or arch enemy was pretty insane, but this year's MTV Challenge: Battle of the Seasons is already gearing up to be the craziest season yet. Four castmembers from nine previous Real World seasons went to Turkey to compete for $250,000. Let's get into it!

As the cast trickles in, they start talking about the competition. Some of them are on good terms and some of them... not so much.
"To be quite honest, most of the people here are idiots." - Chet
"I don't have anyone who's even in my league." - Wes
TJ introduces everyone and lets them all know the "twist" this season (as if they didn't figure it out already). "You guys have been through a lot together. Relationships, friends, fights, maybe been romantic, maybe divorced. But right now, you guys are going to be reunited." TJ starts calling everyone into teams as the shit-talking continues.
"Knight, I really don't care what you think about me. You're a loser." - Preston
It's funny how the Cancun cast seems the most chummy, but didn't they hate each other? I know I remember Jasmine and Jonna going at it. Hm. Anyway, the Brooklyn kids are barely friends.
"JD's kinda creepy. He's a three-legged dog. You want the best for them, but you wonder if they have fleas. And you don't really want them that close to you." - Devyn
TJ then gets into the rules: the winning team of each challenge becomes the "Power Team" and they gets to choose who faces the losing team in "The Arena." If you are the chosen Arena team, you have to pick two of your players to go in - one guy and one girl. If you lose, you both go home.
The cast heads to their villa, which is just as ridiculous as usual. The St. Thomas kids start scheming right away since they don't want to be the "sacrificial lambs" as Marie says. The San Diego cast also tries to smoothe things over within their own team. Frank and Ashley are still on the outs.
"Do I trust her? No." - Frank
Meanwhile, the Austin cast is shotgunning beers and saluting failed marriages.
"I don't know why you divorced this kid." - Wes
Wes predicts that they will be really emotional this season given that they're not over each another. This is sure to be the biggest trainwreck and I don't know about you, but I can't wait.
Alton and Dustin are getting acquainted and sizing up their team, which they think is pretty solid. Dustin lets us know that he and Heather are living together in Jersey. Cute!
Jemmye and Knight (my faves) are already going back and forth. Apparently, Knight cheated on her with his ex and she moved out and donated his clothes to charity, which is just another reason why I love her.
"Who's your least favorite person in the house?" - Jemmye
"You because you keep turning me down." - Knight
Aw. He admits he fucked up, but I respect Jemmye for kicking his ass to the curb. Still hoping they hook up though.
Sarah and Chet are concerned about lazy Devyn who is most remembered for pampering her dog and getting manicures and shit.
"Actually, she's cooler than I remember." - Chet
Zach and Frank, who were like sworn enemies during their season, come out and entertain the ladies (and guys) in little pink speedos. This is not the Zach I remember. Like, at all.
"I can't say I don't enjoy the view." - Sarah
Jonna is foaming at the mouth. She's got a boyfriend back home, but already has her eye on Zach. Hah. I called it.
The cast gets a text clue and CJ mentions his past rivarly with Wes. Am I the only one that didn't remember this? Had no idea. Looks like CJ is still after him though. Wes takes this opportunity to get to the St. Thomas kids so they can do his dirty work.
"They are my fans so they will kinda do whatever I want." - Wes
On challenge day, TJ drops another bomb. There's one more team coming in and bam! -- it's the Fresh Meat kids: Eric, Cara Maria, Camila and Brandon.
"I've lost a total of 70 pounds." - Eric
The challenge is called "Don't Cross Me" and the teams have to cross beams suspended over water at the same time as their teammates. I won't get into the details of every team's performance, but Cancun and Las Vegas smoke the competition.
"Jonna looks great up there." - Zach
Meanwhile, the Fresh Meat team isn't looking so good. Eric can't make it up the ladder and DQ's their team. Preston from Team Nola also has a few issues, but eventually makes it up.
"I love my season to death, but we're still a hot ass mess." - Preston
The first Power Team is... Cancun! Wes. Is. Pissed. As he should be. CJ throws Team Austin into the Arena with a physical challenge. They are going up against Team Fresh Meat. Austin chooses Lacey and Wes while the Fresh Meat kids choose Eric and Cara Maria to go in.
Things get crazy in the house and Zach starts kissing Frank. Um, what?
"I'm a way better kisser than Frank." - Zach
"I think they kissed penises." - Lacey
Frank starts getting super sloppy and gets right in Wes' face for no real reason. Zach picks him up and drags him away. Then Zach leaves to make out with Jonna, the girl with the boyfriend back home.
"I can't do this anymore." - Jonna (to her BF after one day)
Well, that's over. As for the Arena, the elimination challenge involves running through your competitor. Eric definitely has an advantage. Cara Maria beats Lacey and Wes is practically killed by Big E. Wes is officially out the first week! Melinda and Danny are left on Team Austin.
"Sorry, bro." - CJ
"Danny and Melinda couldn't work out their marriage. I can't imagine how they are going to be working on a team together." - Nany
