Fans Unlock Pink Floyd's Entire Catalog On Spotify
Pink Floyd have resisted licensing their albums to Spotify… until now. As reported by Rolling Stone, the streaming service announced on Twitter yesterday that Pink Floyd finally caved and lent their back catalog after a successful campaign asking the band's fans to stream 1975 classic "Wish You Were Here" more than a million times. Follow Classic Rock on Ology for all the latest Pink Floyd news, reviews, leaks, rumors, videos, tour dates, features, fan events and more Well, the millionth "Wish You Were Here" stream was streameth-ed (I'm sticking with it) yesterday afternoon and… ta-da… everything from 1967's The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn to 1994's The Division Bell is now available to stream in full. As reported earlier this week (see below), Led Zeppelin has been counting down to… well, something… all this week on Facebook. Seeing as it's been all quiet on the homeward cows and singing fat lady front, the announcement could really only be one thing: a proper DVD release of their 2007 charity reunion concert at London's O2 Arena.

Led Zeppelin Tease Upcoming O2 Concert DVD Release… We Think

Well, the day is here, and surprise… we were mostly right. Celebration Day, the long rumored film version of the December 10, 2007 concert, will premiere in a few major cities (London, New York, Los Angeles) before hitting theaters worldwide on October 19. Can't be bothered? The official press release confirms the film will also be released "in multiple video and audio formats" on November 19.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale September 13. For more info, be sure to hit up ledzeppelin.com. In the meantime though, check out the official Celebration Day trailer below:
