Big Brother's resident loudmouth Joe Arvin was sent packing in a double eviction episode last week, something we also like to call the worst use of an HOH ever (ahem, Dan). But hey, that's just us.
Nevertheless, we caught up with Joe following his lazy eviction and asked about a number of things, namely why he thinks he lasted so long. Check out our interview below!
You teamed up with Shane. How upset are you about the 3-0 vote and why do you think Shane voted you out?
I was definitely hurt for at least 30 seconds until I looked back at Danielle and looked at myself and then thought, "Yeah I believe I would have picked her too." In the end I think he felt he had a stronger bond with Danielle than he did with me.
You made your opinions of Dan pretty clear. What specifically turned you off about him and did you leave those opinions at the door?
The public spectacle of his funeral and the way that he handled his mistrust for Danielle… it was my opinion that it should have been handled privately and not in an open forum. I think disappointment would be a better word. I was disappointed in his character at the time. I had high expectations of him and that really deflated all the expectations that I had for him. Yes, everything inside the house stays inside the house. Every individual will be met with open arms and a new clean slate when we speak outside the house.
Which do you think kept you in the game longer and why -- your cooking or your lack of competitions wins?
I am going to go with cooking! Cooking kept me in the game. It wasn’t the cooking it was what it does for you. It brought everyone together which created smiles and good times which brought me more time in the house.
Thoughts? Do you think Joe should have went home last week?
