Hold on guys. Sure, you've got your pumpkin spice latte and some of your favorite television shows are returning this week but that doesn't mean The Vampire Diaries is! So get comfy for the next month and start re-watching the episodes until the CW series premieres its fourth season. Better yet, also check out what Executive Producer Julie Plec's favorite episodes are so far! In lieu of the third anniversary since the show aired, Plec tweeted out to her followers 18 of her most memorable. "Here are my fave eps from years 1-3 in order of airing..." she tweeted. She also mentioned quite possibily her number one choice! Trust me, you'll probably agree with it.

1. Friday Night Bites -- for our first understanding of who Damon was and who was he going to become.

3."'Lost Girls' for @kevwilliamson at his finest: Damon and Vicki."
4. "History Repeating: because Marcos directed it w zero prep during the darkest time of Season1 and it rocked, & for football brother-bonding."
5. "Let the Right One In: because it proved our crew could do anything -- but that they would kill us if we ever made them do it again."
6. "Founder's Day: because we made a feature film in 10 days. And because of that whole Katherine thing...."
7. "Honorary mention: 'Under Control': because of getting to watch @paulwesley try not to lose his Rippah shit. And for Uncle John and Paramore."
8. "S2. Plan B: To this day one of my Top 5. First major act 6 sob-fest of the season. And Katherine at her most diabolical. RIP Uncle Mason"
