The Killers (i.e. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's totally favorite rock band, you guys) are the latest act to participate in American Express' Unstaged webcast series, where a (well, usually) interesting band or artist teams up with an iconic film director with (ideally) interesting or even plain old bizarre results.
Ten dollars says The Killers' webcast falls under the latter category—the band will be teaming up with wonky experimental filmmaker Werner Herzog. I know what you're thinking and no, I don't think Brandon Flowers will be eaten alive by a giant grizzly bear at the end. Although we can always hope…
The concert kicks off at the Paradise Theater in the Bronx, New York on September 18 (the same day The Killers' new album Battle Born hits stores and playlists, not-so-coincidentally) at 7 p.m. and will stream live right here. Until then, check out the very un-Herzogian official trailer below.
