Despite having a near-infinate amount of funds to throw around on necessities like Alexander Wang peep-toe lace-up heels or cropped twill Carven trousers, Kate Middleton - who's known for perfecting the high-low style game - goes secondhand store shopping on the regular. What a gal!
You may remember that gray Jesire coat-dress the Duchess of Cambridge wore to the National Portrait Gallery last month, and as it turns out, the label is now defunct and UK's Grazia Daily sent out a search team to find out how she acquired such a gem.
"We can reveal that the Duchess of Cambridge sourced the coat-dress from a second-hand dress agency in Berkshire called 'The Stock Exchange'," the publication reports. "Close to her family's home in Bucklebury, the shop describes itself as 'the premiere venue for the fashion conscious bargain hunter' and stocks 'nearly new' designer clothes."
A shop assistant said the dress is most certainly from their shop, though there hasn't been any Middleton sighting in years. But does Kate even do her own shopping? Of course not - the princess sends a secret assistant!
The Huffington Post also reports that her blue M Missoni coat-dress was an outlet store purchase! I guess it's universally difficult to resist bargain hunting.
