I can't control my feelings right now. I'm warning you. I'll try to put into words exactly what went down on the feeds tonight, but I can't promise that I won't be excited. Because your mind is about to be blown.
WARNING: THERE ARE SPOILERS. STOP READING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW.
Dan f*cking Gheesling might be pulling off the most epic move in BB history right now. This kid won his season by somehow talking his way off the block week after week, but tonight's live feeds just prove how genius he really is. Ready?
Dan calls a house meeting, or what he likes to call his "Big Brother funeral." He proceeds to go around and tell everyone why he loves them and how much he loves this game. He basically says that he's accepted his defeat and he doesn't want to talk game for the rest of the week. He wants to go out having fun. He's fake crying through the whole thing. Everyone is bawling their eyes out at this point. Including Shane...
Then for the good part: Dan tells Danielle that she's "dead to him." And that "she knows what she did." Everyone is left speechless as Dan ends the meeting and asks to apologize to Frank in private.
It gets better.
When Dan's upstairs alone in the HOH room with Frank, he swears on his Bible to tell him everything that went down. He outs the Quack Pack and finally reveals that Ian was the mole, not him, which is something Frank always had suspicions about. Frank is eating everything up and Dan pitches an alliance between them, Danielle and Jenn.
Sidenote: Jenn won the POV. Dan and Danielle are on the block. Ian won a special POV and he has the chance to use it before Jenn to veto a nod.
Meanwhile, this is all sounding great to Frank because Dan's alone and so is he. Not to mention, he can't play in the HOH for two weeks (based on the POV competition punishments). Dan also reminds Frank that Britney is the biggest threat right now. She's protected by both Ian and Shane. She needs to go and Frank agrees.
Another sidenote: The live feeders (like me) are freaking out at this point. Dan was absolutely going home this Thursday in a clear unanimous vote. Just remember that.
So Frank and Dan basically come up with a plan and agree on a Final 2 deal. Frank later pulls Jenn aside to let her in on it and she's totally down. She "didn't take a slop punishment for the rest of the summer for nothing," she says. Whatever, Jenn. You're not winning this game, but I'm happy you're on board!
Downstairs, Dan does damage control with Danielle and tells her that the funeral was all an act. She's been crying hysterically and vomiting because she thought Dan hated her for real. Obviously, this girl is a mess. She's awful. But, when he finally calms her down, she's totally on board with the plan too. For everyone else, she's playing it as though she's still upset with Dan for humiliating her. And props to her. She's batshit crazy, but I guess she's loyal.
Now that the four of them are good to go, the real challenge comes in not exposing their alliance when Dan is taken off the block. It's going to be hard to pull off. They are playing out the different scenarios as I type.
Evel Dick tweeted his approval, "IF Dan pulls this off, this will be one of the greatest plays ever... And I will be the first to give him a call and tell him so."
Janelle also tweeted, "Dan's power move is amazing! Wow!!!! I'm stunned! #DansMist#speechless #DanTheMan #BBLegend."
I am speechless myself. Dan is my favorite player of all time, which I'm sure you know if you read my recaps, but this, this is on a whole other level. This may go down as the best game move in BB history. As it should.
#TEAMDAN
What do you think of everything? Will he pull this off? Will he keep his Final 2 promise to Frank or Dani? Comment and let me know!!!
