"I am not the kind of girl/who should be rudely barging in/on a white veil occasion," sings Taylor Swift on "Speak Now," the title song from her 2010 album of the same name.
But according to Victoria Gifford Kennedy, that's exactly what the singer did this weekend. Gifford Kennedy, whose daughter Kyle (Conor's cousin) got married on Saturday at a posh Boston hotel, had previously asked Swift and Conor to not attend the wedding, claiming that Swift's fame would take attention away from the bride.

When the pair turned up at the wedding, Gifford Kennedy was not pleased.
"I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave," Gifford Kennedy said. "It was like taking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me."
However, a rep for Swift vehemently denies that any such event occurred. "There is no truth to that," Swift's rep told the Boston Herald. "Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there."
