When True Blood's fifth season bows out this Sunday (9pm EST, HBO), the chances are solid that it will go out with a bang. But going out with a slap might be Bill Compton's job, and Stephen Moyer's transformation from lady-lovin' good seed to lady-slappin' bad, baad egg has been a blast.
"Is it fun to play? Hell yeah," he tells TVLine. "There’s been some really enjoyable stuff. Once you commit to it… it’s just as much fun as every other part of the show." As for that slap, he explains: "I love the Bill and Jessica relationship. There’s genuine love there. When Sookie turned her back on Bill in Seasons 3 and 4, that was the one affectionate relationship he had left. And so that was a really tough scene to play. But she went against what Bill asked her to do. So, again, that was an authentic reaction."
The season finale of True Blood airs this Sunday at 9pm EST on HBO. Will you be tuning in? Comment!
