There are some sets of famous siblings that everyone just knows: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, and Chris and Liam Hemsworth, to name a few. But then there are those celebrities, each famous in their own right, whom you would never think of as brothers or sisters to other stars.

Here are 5 pairs of celebrities whose sibling relationships may shock you:
1) Kirk Cameron and Candace Cameron Bure
They were both late '80s/early '90s sitcom icons (she played D.J. Tanner on Full House, and he rose to fame as heartthrob Mike Seaver on Growing Pains) but many are surprised to discover that the two are brother and sister. During the height of their fame, Kirk once guest-starred on Full House as D.J.'s older cousin, Steve. Both Kirk and Candace are evangelical Christians and frequently speak out about their faith.
2) Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez
While both Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez bare an uncanny resemblance to their father, Martin Sheen, the brothers don't necessarily look related to each other. But make no mistake: they may not share the same last name (Estevez kept his birth name while Sheen took his father's stage name) the two are most definitely brothers, starring alongside each other in 1990's Men at Work.
3) Jennifer and Lynda Lopez
Jennifer Lopez is the older sister of Emmy-winning broadcast journalist Lynda Lopez, who is perhaps most well known for her former position as a news anchor on Good Day New York. While working as a VJ on VH1, Lynda once conducted a special interview with her older sister, discussing their shared childhood and Jennifer’s music career.
4) Ben Stiller and Rodger Bumpass
All right, this one's a bit of a stretch. But we bet you didn't know that funnyman Ben Stiller's brother-in-law is the actor who voices Squidward Tentacles on SpongeBob SquarePants! Rodger Bumpass, who is indeed the voice of Squidward, is married to Stiller's sister, Amy, who is also an actor.
5) Spencer and Abigail Breslin
Spencer Breslin (whose notable credits include The Kid, The Cat in the Hat, and The Santa Clause 2) is the older brother of Little Miss Sunshine actress, Abigail Breslin. The two played on-screen siblings in Raising Helen. Despite their similar looks (and last name) many people don't realize that the two are brother and sister.
