The Slaughterhouse crew don't really have any more proving grounds left to lyrically decimate due to the fact that they've tagged their signatures in ash on every face that hip-hop can offer, and while we're always ready for another track loaded with venomous bars, their cohesive density as of late has been producing the alternative sides of each emcee that we've always chilled on in their solo work.

Joe's given us plenty of memorable introspective records throughout his Mood Muzik series, but for this latest full-crew track "Truth or Truth" spread out over Rick Ross' "Tears of Joy" from Teflon Don serves out the quartet of emotional addmissions that Nickel Nine, Joell and Crooked I less-often write out. There's a quality in the song that grounds human qualities in the usually monolithic emcees, and it's difficult to match any narrators in hip-hop as equals.
Here's the track; give it a listen, throw up your thoughts. Slaughterhouse drop their Shady Records debut welcome to: OUR HOUSE on the 28th, and "Truth or Truth" is slated for their upcoming On The House mixtape.
