So, um, I don't know how you guys watched last night's MTV premiere of Green Day's "Oh Love" music video… but here at Ology, we were proper plastered. Loaded. Wasted. Blissfully intoxicated. Et cetera. I mean, how could you not be, right? Have you guys seen this thing? The lead single from trilogy-opener ¡Uno! (out September 25) has, last time I checked, generated nothing but "meh" from longtime fans, a reaction that's sure to be intensified by its… stop me if I'm wrong… pretty awful music video.

Rather than go into painful after painful detail of why the "Oh Love" video is so dream-crushingly devastating, I thought I'd invite you all to play our brand new favorite pastime, the Green Day "Oh Love" Music Video drinking game! It's very simple—just check out the video below and follow the instructions after the jump. (Suffice to say, if you're perhaps a member of the dwindling but still vocal crowd of people fond of yelling, "Sell out!" at Green Day… still… I'd suggest trying to avoid spit taking all over your computer.)
Drinks ready? Okay, here's what you do:
Take a small sip when…
- You spot a super model.
- You spot a member of Green Day.
- You think, "Well, I guess this song isn't really that bad."
Take a shot when…
- Tattooed blondie with the sideboob wanders into one shot too many.
- Billie Joe Armstrong stops "playing" guitar when there's clearly still guitar happening.
- You spot a super model who might conceivably own an actual Green Day CD.
Pound an entire beer when…
- You spot a model that doesn't: A.) Look completely bored, B.) Look strung out on some chemical substance or other, and C.) Have her mouth open.
- You reach the 3:28 mark and feel like you just… can't… take… any… more.
Run to the bathroom and vomit when…
- One of your mates accidentally clicks Replay instead of closing out.
