Taylor Swift and those ex-boyfriend songs. Gotta love it! The singer recently released "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and fans instantly wondered: Who's the song about? Could it be Mark Foster? Jake Gyllenhaal? (Probably not because of the music reference.) Even Joe Jonas? Well, the Jonas brother just spoke out about the song that's featured on her Red album, and he's pretty sure that the hit isn't about him.
"I can say it's not about me, because I don't think we've ever tried another time," he said during a Wednesday interview with 94.7 Fresh FM. "I can tell you it's not about me!" he repeated. The singer confirms that he and Taylor never tried to get back together after (he broke up with her after a 27-second phone call) split.
Though Taylor has written songs about him before, he still wishes her the best. "I like the song. That said, I think the song is great...Taylor does pop music really well and I'm happy for her," he said. "...I was able to go to her concert last year, and her show live is so phenomenal...I would say anybody should go see it if they have a chance. I think we're cool."
