Video: Grizzly Bear's "Yet Again" Performance On 'Ellen' Finally Airs
Better late than never, right? Last month, Grizzly Bear filmed a performance of Shields single "Yet Again" for The Ellen DeGeneres Show which was apparently shelved until today's episode. Apparently, they're one of Ellen's all-time favorite bands… so I'm guessing she was simply enjoying the clip in the comfort of her home for a month before finally deciding to air it.

Watch: Arctic Monkeys Debut New Song "Do I Wanna Know?"
Arctic Monkeys performed a brand-new song titled "Do I Wanna Know?" last night at the Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura, CA, the lead date of their 2013 tour and first show since the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony last July. A slow-burning, tightly wound bit of business, the song will presumably show up on their still super secretive fifth album, expected out later this year.

Cat Power Vows To "Leave America" In Bizarre Instagram Rant
No judgments or thoughts, really, but yes, Cat Power's Chan Marshall did post a truly bizarre rant on the official Cat Power Instagram account yesterday, promising to "leave America" due to the "powers that be" "[raping] this earth with its lies, protection of wealth, and vicious slayings."

"THANK YOU FOR THE HOPE IN YOUR SYM...
I know what you're thinking, and no, that wasn't Zola Jesus' kid sister on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night—it was Canadian experimental artist Claire "Grimes" Boucher, making her U.S. television debut with "Genesis" off her latest album Visions, out now via 4AD Records. Decked out in a flowing red kimono with a pair of keyboards, a pair of backup dancers, a pair of smoke machines and one killer headband, Grimes made quite the impression… or at least, she managed to water down her transcendent live show into an NBC-friendly presentation that wouldn't scare off the moms and dads.
Check it out below.
She's great, right? Sort of like a weird mash-up of Björk and that extra cute but totally weird girl from your art class you're still too afraid to talk to. The mess of rose petals all over the place is a nice touch… almost as nice as watching Boucher bounce between the two keyboard stands, expertly balancing that microphone on her shoulder without a single "kfffphhhhm." (That's hair-on-mic, by the way.) If you haven't already, definitely check out her album Visions when you're in a swoon-grrr sort of mood. (Spotify users can hear it right here.)
What do you guys think of Grimes and last night's "Genesis" performance? Let me know in the comments section below.
