Hilary Duff and her bubbly personality will soon be gracing TV sets around the world.
The former Lizzie McGuire star, 24, has signed a one-year talent/developmental deal with 20th Century Fox, where she is set to produce and star in her own 30 minute comedy show. Fox maintains the right to cast Duff in a different series if her show does not work out.

Duff is thrilled about her deal with Fox, and couldn’t want to share the good news with fans. "Ok it's official! Very exciteda bout my development deal with 20th century fox!!" she tweeted on Monday. "t.v. here I come! :)"
Though she is most well known for playing the title character on Lizzie McGuire, Duff has also enjoyed a successful singing career, and has starred in movies such as Cheaper By The Dozen and Material Girls. She recently made several guest appearances on Gossip Girl.
Duff, who is married to hockey player Mike Comrie, recently welcomed her first child, son Luca, on March 20, 2012.
