Like a mythical creature living in a secluded enchanted forest, Simon Le Bon tends to leave a trail of sparkly wonderfulness in his wake whenever he decides to take to Twitter for another round of delightfully offbeat, usually out of context commentary on his fantastically odd and unusual life. Case in point? The iconic Duran Duran frontman and star of our fan-favorite This Week In Simon Le Bon Tweets feature tweeted his review of The Dark Knight Rises earlier today and, in its own particular, brilliant sort of way, it's kind of the best DKR review I've read so far.

Sit back and enjoy:

See? Amazing. As I'm sure you'll all recall from Simon's Oscar commentary a few years back, he's got quite a thing for Miss Anne Hathaway and her, um… seat. Note the ingenious way he twists his concluding argument; will he be seeing Catwoman's tush in his dreams, or Christian Bale hanging from a natty old rope? It's a delicately layered bit of film criticism the likes of which you're unlikely to hear from mainstream critics. (Though, to be fair, I've heard Leonard Maltin is prone to utilize the phrase "Gawd's nipples" when he's a bit scrambled, as well. Shrug, just something I've heard.)
