Anderson Cooper and Robert Pattinson may have more in common than they think.

Ben Maisani, Cooper’s boyfriend of several years, has whipped the media into a frenzy after being photographed kissing a dark-haired man in a New York park. The pictures show Maisani intimately locking lips with a man who is clearly not the silver-haired news anchor.

Cooper and Maisani, who owns a gay bar in the East Village of Manhattan, have reportedly been dating for three years – and rumors were swirling that Cooper wanted to marry Maisani as soon as Labor Day. It has also been reported that the couple live together in Cooper’s converted firehouse apartment. 

Cooper publicly came out in July, in an open letter to longtime friend Andrew Sullivan of The Daily Beast. "The fact is, I’m gay, I always have been, always will be, and I couldn’t be more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud," Cooper stated.
