Let Dancing with the Stars season 16 begin! The new cast was revealed Tuesday morning, and it has brought up and confirmed many suspicions. As the partnered pairs didn't surprise us much (Derek Hough and Mark Ballas with two young celebrities and Tristan MacManus paired with someone a bit older) what did shock us was Maksim Chmerkovskiy's absence. While there are some celebs who will reprise partnerships with their pro partners (Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas; Kristie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy) get ready to see brand new match-ups – including Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff!
