When people talk 90s tongue-twisting bars, Busta and his Leaders of the New School and ’96 The Coming solo days rear quick alongside Twista’s Runnin’ Off at da Mouth and the Bone Thugs collective, leaving Flatbush Brooklyn trio Fu-Schnickens off to the side, despite their mastery of the intricate lyrical artform.

Emcees Chip Fu, Moc Fu, and Poc Fu spit quick rhythm with the best, as was seen when their debut F.U. Don’t Take It Personal dropped in ’92 at the one spot on the Billboard Heatseekers. Tracks like “Ring the Alarm” and “La Schmoove” became swift classics in the evolving Goldern Era afterlife, though the exhibition on the opening track and third single “True Fuschnick” on F.U. stands out as their finest performance on kudzu twining bar lines...
