Watch This: Wiz Khalifa Drops "Let It Go" Music Video Feat. Akon

Wiz' O.N.I.F.C. didn't make as much buzz as it probably hoped to (let's be honest: Wiz hasn't exactly been on the top of his talent ever since he attained fame with "Black and Yellow"), but he's still making the content push, the latest product being the music video for his Akon-featured single "Let It Go." Verse-wise, I'll admit that Wiz is much closer to his prime than usual (at least in my opinion), and while they aren't bolstered by much more than his typical blunt smoking shots and random wandering, the collective audio/visual function is working. The Akon presence isn't really necessary (ever), but that's not my decision, so I'll just let that be. There's this whole boxing/crosstraining thing going on in the video too, but I'm not going to touch on that. In the circumstance that Wiz' O.N.I.F.C. (Only N*gga In First Class) flops (which, judging by the recently released album art, things are shooting more toward the unwanted), his How Fly Curren$y collaboration follow-up Live In Concert is the redeemer we're hoping will refuel our caring for the smoked out Pittsburgh emcee.

However, we've got a slice of bad news, as the pair are pushing back the release date due to sample clearance issues.

Here's what Spitta tweeted out:

"We wldnt feel comfortable droppin #LiveInConcert until we get the samples cleared.with how these suits keep poppin up.. Mixtapes ain’t safe,. Lots of law suits being handed out to folks for makin free mixtape jams..Wiz,Mac,myself even..We gotta play this one smart..We got it tho. So don’t trip it’ll be out soons the legal beagles handle it…. Crazy how the game gets huh? I never imagined a time like this…. came up off mixtapes in 08 not financially but they put me on so2speak..Sucks that this may be a lane made unavailable to the next mcs.. But when one door closes, another one opens….We will do the due diligence and have it cleared in its entirety …When u hear it you’ll see what we built…. And it will last forever."

Yeah, it's a whole mess there, but it's essentially saying that they want to avoid all risks of lawsuit.

Wiz chimed in as well:

"Just As Spitta Said We Gotta Make Surr All The Samples Are Cleared Before We Drop The Tape To Respect The Artists And Publishers We Sampled. Kush Castles Will Still Be Appearing From The Sky. Just Not Today :-("

So, that's about it. There's no word on a new release date, but Wiz' O.N.I.F.C. will be dropping shortly on September 18.
