“Duran Duran. They've done New Romantic to funk to house, done them well, and combined them in interesting ways.”

Nell commented on Ology's Battle Of The Fans: '80s Semi-Finals (Duran Duran Vs. Depeche Mode):
“Duran Duran. I'm a fan of both, and have seen both perform, but it was hearing The Chauffeur live that really showed me how much a piece of music can do emotionally even when the lyrics are somewhat abstract.”
So goes the current story, Amy Winehouse's former husband Blake Fielder-Civil is currently in a coma in West Yorkshire, England due to what is being reported as a drug overdose (don't take the overdose part to heart yet, because these things are never confirmed until things have run their course more thoroughly through the media).
According UK tabloid The Sun, Fielder-Civil's partner Sarah Aspin found him choking on his vomit in the early hours of the morning on August 3 after what was a reported a heavy outing of narcotic (that could mean only alcohol) indulgence. There have been no confirmed reports on toxicity levels, nor what was in Fielder-Civil's system.
Fielder-Civil and Amy Winehouse were married from 2007-2009, and Amy's father, Mitch, sent out some words via Twitter in regards to the incident:
"Terrible news about Blake this morning. Remember Amy loved him. Let's pray for his recovery."
Amy and Blake split due to what was rumored a relationship of drug abuse and violence, but that's not really important right now considering the story is his coma situation. That's about all there is for now, so we'll keep you updated as things progress (hopefully in a positive direction).
