Dan Harmon's 'Community' Rape Joke Really Isn't Going Over Well
God dammit, rape jokes: will a quip that even nudges the idea of sadistic sex-driven violence ever be socially acceptable? Because, apparently Community creator Dan Harmon though that savage imagery was perfectly likable to what it felt like for him to watch an entire season of his show after vacating the job of Executive Producer, and rape evokes feelings just like feelings evoke rape. The actual quote is that his viewing of the NBC comedy's fourth year was like "being held down and watching your family get raped on a beach," which is only odd because I don't know much about beach rape, nor why the completely innocent beach was relevant, but what happened next is sadly typical: the rest of America was like, "um, no."

In Shit’s About to Get Real in My Teenage Werewolf Life news, a recent Teen Wolf promo has revealed the death count will hit the fan, and a prominent character from the cast will die within the last two episodes of the show’s second season. Who could it be? Could it be Scott, causing the show to go into an unnecessarily bleak direction? Could it be Allison, resurrecting the classic "women in refrigerators" trope? Maybe even Stiles, effectively taking away the only really good character on the show? Or most likely it’ll be Boyd, fulfilling the "black guy always dies first" legacy; let's face it, he’s pretty disposable to begin with, creating a cop-out that allows Teen Wolf to get away with having all of their prominent characters live for another season.
Actually, I’m just going to go out and put my money where my mouth is: It’s going to be the black guy. Who do you guys think will bite the bucket? Vote and comment below!
