It’s a war of words between Sharon Osbourne and NBC.
Sharon Osbourne has left her position as a judge on NBC’s America’s Got Talent after the network fired her son Jack, she claims to the New York Post. Jack Osbourne, who was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, was fired from new reality series Stars Earn Stripes two days before the show was to begin production, his mother alleges. Stars Earn Stripes will feature celebrities such as Nick Lachey, Laila Ali, and even Todd Palin undergoing intense military training.

While producer David Hurwitz notes that Osbourne was someone they were "in talks with," the network maintains that he never signed a contract, and was not fired. Sharon Osbourne, however, claims that there are emails with Hurwitz that allude to a verbal agreement that was broken after Jack went public with his diagnosis.
Sharon Osbourne, who had been in the judge’s chair for seven seasons, seemingly has no qualms about leaving America’s Got Talent. "All they can do," she explains, "is stop me from being a judge on another network for five years."
"Sharon has been a valuable part of the NBC family," an NBC representative stated to the New York Post. "We regret any misunderstanding and wish Jack well."
