Can't lie… seriously considering blowing off all work this weekend and just watching the live Lollapalooza stream instead. That should be an option, right? You could argue that this is my work! Right? Right? …Don't tell my bosses.
If you hadn't already heard, the annual alternative rock festival kicks off today in Chicago at around 2:30 p.m. ET (1:30 p.m. Central). "Dear Lalapalooza [sic], I love you. Sincerely, Me," tweeted Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul this afternoon. ("Yeah, bitch! Magnetic Fields!") Couldn't agree more, Jesse. If you've got some serious time to kill or, like me, just want to look really busy until the end of business hours today, the Lollapalooza live YouTube stream is right here. Here's who's playing today and when:
2:30 pm: Yellow Ostrich
2:30 pm: Michael Kiwanuka
3:15 pm: The Black Angels
3:15 pm: Dr. Dog
4:00 pm: The War On Drugs
4:15 pm: Blind Pilot
5:00 pm: Metric
5:15 pm: Afghan Whigs
6:15 pm: The Head & The Heart
6:15 pm: Tame Impala
7:15 pm: The Shins
7:15 pm: Band of Skulls
8:00 pm: Sharon Van Etten
8:30 pm: Dawes
9:00 pm: Die Antwoord
9:30 pm: The Black Keys
Be sure to follow us on Twitter at @Music_Ologists… we'll be live tweeting as much of the Lollapalooza stream as we can safely manage working on some very important paperwork with enthusiastic gusto until 6 p.m., of course. Sigh. Seriously, don't tell on me.
Anyone else planning on spending some serious hour-age watching Lollapalooza sets this weekend? Hit up our comments section below and tell us which bands you're most excited to see!
