Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham once thought about taking her own life.
"All I could think about was killing myself," the 21-year-old single mom tells In Touch. "I figured I would drown myself in the bathtub -- that seemed like the easiest way to go."
Farrah lost her ex-boyfriend and daughter Sophia's father Derek Underwood in a tragic car accident while Farrah was still pregnant and in high school. She goes on to discuss her battle with depression, drugs and alcohol as well. Though, Farrah says she's "back on track" after stints with cocaine and marijuana use.
"I realized I was being selfish," she says of contemplating suicide. "The most important thing is making sure that [Sophia's] well taken care of -- how am I going to do that if I'm dead?"
We give Farrah a lot of credit for talking about her struggles and overcoming them, and we're happy to hear she's in a good place now.
Farrah's memoir My Teenage Dream Ended hits stores Aug. 14.
