Vin Scully is one of baseball's last great treasures. A real gem. So it is with no disrespect I post this video. It is amazing. Scully is amazing.

Whoever it was in the Dodgers broadcasting team who thought of the idea of having Vin Scully reading a tweet - or a twit, or a twitter - had a spectacularly good idea. Because the following was absolutely bound to happen:

"The Dodgers received a 'twitter,'" Scully begins. "Certainly Matt Kemp received it, so did Hanley Ramirez, and the 'twitter' came from Shane Victorino... and the 'twitter' read -- or do you say 'twit'? Anyway, the 'twit' read, 'Aloha Los Angeles! Ready to come help the Dodgers win it all. Let's go."

Don't ever change, Vin Scully. I know you won't.
