I don't know about you, but I'm getting super pumped about season 7 of Dexter. After the less-than-stellar season last year, I'm ready for the show to get back into its groove.
And since the season finale finally revealed Dexter's dark passenger to Deb, I have a feeling we're in for one wild ride. Especially now that she's "in love" with her brother. Or whatever.
Jennifer Carpenter teased the season 7 premiere at the TCA's this week. "It was the strangest, scariest seduction scene, in a weird way," she said of the first scene back. "It was also the first time I felt [Deb's] power as a lieutenant. I felt as weak and as powerful as I’ve ever been — as an actor and as a character."
She goes on, "We were fresh off a very long, very generous hiatus, and that was the first scene that we shot. It was very hard. But once Michael [C. Hall] and I shook the dust off in rehearsals and everything, it was so easy. I didn’t have to manipulate anything; it was all right there."
Can't. Wait.
How do you think Deb will handle the news? Leave your theories in the comments below!
