Though most of us have stopped watching American Idol because of all the seasons in the show's history that have led to inevitable disappointment, there's still something to be said for the moment, those final moments where the winner is crowned, even if you're bound to forget their name within the next 15 minutes. This year, that champ is Candice Glover, Idol's first female champ since Jordin Sparks wore the crown in 2006, who triumphed through a season already heavily skewed in the ladies' favor (so much show that the entire top four were all women). Did you watch this season? Not at all. Is Candice Glover a phenomenal vocalist? Eh, she sounds okay. Will she be a bonafide diva superstar?
